The Pew Research Center has a new report (see here) which analyzes the amount of "residential segregation" that has emerged over the past few years (see graph below, click to enlarge).
The report states;
"Despite the long-term rise in residential segregation by income, it
remains less pervasive than residential segregation by race, even though
black-white segregation has been falling for several decades."
